Colegio de La Sagrada Familia de Barranquilla owned by the Congregation of the Capuchin Tertiary Sisters of the Holy Family located at Calle 72 No. 38-79 on the land located in the Las Delicias neighborhood, was founded in 1953 starting work on 9 February with 66 students being the Superior and Director: Hna. Maria Licinia Acosta
The land was donated by the first Colombian Capuchin Tertiary nun, a native of Barranquilla, an exemplary, self-sacrificing woman of surprising virtues, she invested her family inheritance in works of apostolate for the education of young people.
